Student ID Cards/ UNC Charlotte Picture ID

Student ID Cards are required for on-campus services, off-campus verification of student status and proctored exams. Click here for additional ID information. The Office of Distance Education mails ID cards to new Distance Education students; however, these cards do not have photos. If you are required to come to campus for your program, or you anticipate that you will visit campus regularly, you may want to obtain a picture ID. Contact the 49er Card Office. (704-687-2138)

Immunization & Health Insurance:

Distance Education students are not required to meet the immunization requirements and are not eligible for health insurance. If you receive a letter from the university regarding immunizations and health insurance and you are a Distance Education student, you may disregard the letter. If you are taking on-campus courses in addition to your DE courses, please review the immunization and health insurance policy at http://www.studenthealth.uncc.edu/.
