Graduate Certificate in Instructional Systems Technology

Nationally Recognized Program

The Instructional Systems Technology (IST) program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte is accredited by the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT), the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), and by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI). The IST program at UNC Charlotte is currently the only graduate offering in North Carolina to hold National Recognition status from AECT and NCATE.

The Graduate Certificate in Instructional Systems Technology is designed for currently licensed school system personnel, seeking the Special Endorsement in Computer Education by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (18079). Others seeking the graduate certificate include Training and Development professionals and those pursuing Instructional Design credentials.
