Master of Science in Nursing: Nurse Educator

Program Information

The MSN Nurse Educator concentration prepares nurses for advanced practice as a Nurse Educator in a selected area of expertise. Graduates of this program are prepared for positions in health systems as clinical educators or academic positions teaching nursing at the entry into practice or RN-BSN levels. Graduates meet the new Board of Nursing requirements for faculty who teach in entry-level RN and LPN programs. All nursing programs at UNC Charlotte are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and are approved by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. This program of study is entirely online.
